Central Desert was formally appointed as the legal representative for the Nullarbor native title claimants on July 9 2007.
The Nullarbor Native Title Claim was dismissed by Justice McKerracher of the Federal Court of Australia on 8 June 2009.
Currently there are no claims lodged in the area of Nullarbor but Central Desert is undertaking research with the purpose of lodging a claim or claims in the near future.

Land Access & Future Acts
Please contact our Future Acts Officer, if you wish to access the Nullarbor area or have any queries in relation to Land Access on the Nullarbor area. There is a requirement to comply with the Aboriginal Heritage Act when carrying out exploration activities in this area. Central Desert is able to arrange for Heritage Surveys to be undertaken in this area in order to protect Aboriginal Heritage and sites of significance.
