This is the area of land south of the Tarlpa native title claim. There are currently no native title claims lodged over this area, however, anthropological research is being undertaken with the purpose of lodging a claim or claims in the near future.

Land Access & Future Acts
The Goldfields Land and Sea Council have historically dealt with mining and heritage and native title matters in relation to the unregistered claim areas south of the Tarlpa and Wiluna native title claims.
In late 2008, Central Desert assumed responsibility over the entire area, within the Central Desert Region, that lies south of the Wiluna and Tarlpa native title claims. Central Desert has assumed this responsibility as part of their statutory functions under the Native Title Act.
In assuming our role as the legal representative for this area, Central Desert has taken on the responsibility for warranting that the right people will be utilised for heritage surveys.
