PBC Travel and Admin Support Officer

Full Time
12 month maximum term contract, with possible extension

Level 2 ($57,847 – $65,585 per annum excluding benefits)

We are seeking applications for a PBC Travel and Admin Support Officer to join our team.  You will play a pivotal role to coordinate the travel and logistical needs of the PBC Support team, get them out on the ground in regional and remote WA where they will meet with our clients. You will be safety conscious, and ensure our team and clients have the equipment they need to remain safe while travelling. This busy and rewarding role will require high efficiency and attention to detail at all times. You will also provide administrative support to the team when required.

The successful person will also have:

  • a demonstrated capacity to organise all aspects of remote area meetings;
  • a proven capacity to undertake administrative tasks in a well-organised manner, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure;
  • excellent inter-personal communication skills, and the ability to communicate with Aboriginal people where English may be a second language;
  • the ability to learn and adapt quickly to using different database and accounting systems (experience with MYOB preferable);
  • competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications (including Teams); and
  • a team player attitude and be able to work and have fun in a busy, time pressured environment.
