Desert Accounting and Business Support (DABS) have been delivering services to Aboriginal people of the Central Desert since 2013 - originally as a part of Central Desert Native Title Services (Central Desert).

In March 2022, DABS was officially created as a not-for-profit, independent wholly owned subsidiary of Central Desert to provide specific, tailored services to any corporation.

The DABS team works side by side with clients to understand what their aims are and how best to support them to achieve it.

To achieve this team members will often travel to the remote communities of our clients. Together they workshop how services can be practically applied to deliver the outcomes needed.

Why is business administration important?

Running a corporation requires a great deal of administrative work, planning and management.

What a corporation can achieve for its members often comes down to good money management, people resourcing, and support. 

DABS can support communities to do this and share the skills to do it themselves, should they wish to.
