Central Desert is seeking a WHS Administrator to contribute to a safe and compliant workplace across the Central Desert Group.

This role is full-time for a fixed term of 2 years and will be based at our office in East Perth - with free parking and close to public transport.

This role supports the WHS Manager by coordinating day-to-day safety systems, documentation, and processes that enable a proactive and compliant safety environment.

The WHS Administrator will assist with hazard and incident reviews, track corrective actions, support emergency planning activities, and ensure WHS communications and documentation are delivered consistently and effectively.

The role also supports inductions, safety related meetings, contractor compliance, and safety equipment checks to support teams working in unique environments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent) with solid knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance.

• Experience managing WHS systems, documentation, incident reporting, and risk assessments.

• Skilled in digital systems, document control, and maintaining registers (e.g., SDSs, training, contractors).

• Strong communication skills with experience in inductions, drills, and WHS updates.

• Able to troubleshoot system issues and support users with guides or direct assistance.

• Accurate and reliable in handling WHS records and meeting administrative deadlines.

• Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence and valid National Police Clearance (issued within 6 months).
